Our beautiful and unique Wooden Juniper and Sweet Gin Concrete Candle is one of our favourites. They have a natural and raw appearance that gives a light and loving feel. Wooden Wick Concrete Candle has a unique style, and amazing scent.
Felt pads have been added to the bottom to prevent the scratching of surfaces. The natural wooden wick creates the soothing sound of a crackling fire! The design of the concrete pot allows reusing it to integrate it into your decor once the candle is consumed such as a plant pot.
The good thing about using a material such as concrete means that every item made is unique with its own anomalies and quirk. It also makes the perfect Valentine’s gift, wedding favour and table decoration.
When trying to burn your soy wax candle for longer period it is Important to allow the candle to burn for approximately 2 hours at the beginning to allow your candle to create its initial memory burn. This will increase the scent throw and a full melt pool of wax. Always keep the wick in the centre.
To prevent your soy wax candle from producing black soot, always trim your wick to ¼ before lighting the candle. Always burn your candle on a stable and heat resistant surface. Keep from drafts. Do not burn candle when wax is less than ½ inch from bottom. Do not touch or move candle while burning or if wax is hot. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave unattended while candle is burning.
Soy Wax Candles are a great eco-friendly alternative to paraffin candles. Soy Candles throw scent beautifully and are better for the planet. Soy Candles also burn 30-50% longer and do not contain the toxins that paraffin candles have.
Please make sure the wick is no longer than 5-10mm before using the candle (please trim before each use if necessary)

Soy candles are made out of soy wax. This wax is derived from soybeans, making soy candles completely renewable and biodegradable!
Transforming soybeans into soy wax is a long process! It starts once the soybeans are harvested and cleaned. Then, these beans are cracked, de-hulled, and rolled into flakes. After which, oil is extracted from flakes and is hydrogenated.
Hydrogenation involves converting the unsaturated fatty acids in the oil into saturated fatty acids. As a result, the oil becomes solid at room temperature. And, behold! This is how soy wax comes into being!
